Dormer transformation completed by the YETI Roofing team 👌

We fully renewed this dormer with:
✔️ New slate installation
✔️ New flat roof system
✔️ Full replacement UPVC fascias, soffits & guttering

The old materials were tired and weathered, so everything was stripped back and rebuilt properly for a clean modern finish and long-term durability 🔨🌧️

A massive difference from the original condition.

Every Time The Wind Blew… These Slates Were Moving

After stripping the roof we found a lo t of the slates had been nailed in the wrong locations, leaving fixings exposed to wind and rain and causing the slates to slap in bad weather

Failed lead was letting water in behind here which was causing damp inside.

Stripped it back and redone it properly — all fixed now and shouldn’t cause any more issues.

Just finished installing lead flashing on this roof 🏠

The roof had a slight sag, which was letting water blow in and down the interior wall of this extension. Now, with the lead flashing installed, it allows the roof to move naturally while providing a far superior watertight solution.
Small upgrades like this make a big difference in protecting a home long-term!

Bit of a windy one up there today in Aberdeen 🌬️

A Pervious Storm had blown a chimney pot off, so got stuck in — raked out and repointed 2 chimneys, new pots on, fresh zinc ridge, and a few slate repairs while we were at it.

All tidied up and solid again 👌
