A humbling journey to Mon Jam, Thailand 🇹🇭
Our Director, Scott, and his wife Danielle recently travelled high into the mountains of Mon Jam to spend time with the Hmong hill tribe — a community who, not so long ago, were living hand-to-mouth through farming alone.
Today, perched along the hillsides between their terraced fields, sit rows of beautifully kept glamping pods and domes. A community that once struggled has quietly transformed its future by diversifying — welcoming travellers in, sharing their culture, and building something sustainable alongside the land they've always worked.
The kindness was immediate. Danielle was soon surrounded by little ones in brilliantly coloured traditional dress, giggling and posing like old friends.
For Scott, whose life's work is building premium pods and cabins here in the UK, seeing the same simple idea change lives on the other side of the world was genuinely moving. Different landscape, different culture — same truth: a well-placed pod can open up a whole new future.
Our thanks to the Hmong community for the welcome, the hospitality, and the perspective. 🙏
