Well it's been a good week on the BLS job in terms of progress, the weather certainly kept us guessing all week and coupled with an extremely high water table at this location the waterproofs and welly's were certainly needed ☔️💦

With 42tonnes of slop and weeds taken away and 54 tonnes of new material brought in so far it's good to know the worst of the mess is behind us on this project 💪

Thanks to SM Grab Ltd for the waste away and supply of clean stone and soil, Haldane Fisher England for the supply of various materials and also Nigel Gott for jumping in with an extra helping hand 😊

What a week, well.... 4 days!!!

Approx 45 tonne of prehistoric reedy weird grassland stuff dug off from this garden to rid it off the horrible invasive stuff 😡

Now it's free from the weird stuff and down to a fresh start we've discovered we are literally on the water table and now have a pond!!!😬

Next up it's membrane and clean stone time to try build up this area that will one day be a lovely lawn that will be a lot better for laying on a sun lounger than it currently is ☀️ 🤞😂

Thanks to Haldane Fisher England for the fencing materials and membrane etc for next weeks tasks.

What a lovely job this one's been, we finished it off today with the resin pointing and installation of the golden gravel.... now that's some added curb appeal 👌🏻

A quick site visit today to finalise some plans for an upcoming project..... this ones going to be fun and we might need some serious toys to find some solid ground 😂🫣

Friday again!!!!!

That can only mean one thing.... more building work at home 😂😂

Anyway, this is how we leave the BLS job today, not too bad for 2 days laying.

Just really hope that nobody ducks and dives their way around the wheely bins, empty paving crates, ropes and land mines to walk across the paving to deliver a takeaway menu to the front door 🫣😬
