The countdown to the FORS Annual Conference is on!

Rachel Pearson will be back at the ICC Birmingham on 29 September, joined on stand 45 by our transport consultancy partner Steve Hale and Fleetmaxx Marketing Manager Steve Clarke.

Fleetloc8 brings information including idling, harsh braking, acceleration, cornering and overspeeding into a score from 1 to 100. The number provides a useful starting point, while trip history and event data add the context managers need.

Could the maximum MOT fee rise to £95?

Independent garages are calling for an increase from the current £54.85 cap, warning that rising operating costs could force some testing centres to reduce appointment availability.

For a business operating 100 vehicles, that could increase the maximum annual testing cost from £5,485 to £9,500. Longer waiting times and additional vehicle downtime could create an even greater operational cost.
