At Alba kitchens we specialise in transforming your existing kitchen into one with a modern, fresh and attractive feel by designing and fitting new doors and worktops. Complete the perfect finish with matching cabinet ends and accessories. Quality built in appliances, sinks and taps will make your kitchen a pleasure to work in. With over 18000 local transformations completed, you know you are in safe hands with Alba kitchens. All installations are covered by our comprehensive five year warranty and all sinks and appliances are covered by the manufacturers warranty. All joinery, plumbing and electrical work is carried out to the highest industry standards. (All plumbing work is carried out by Gas Safe registered fitters)

The average installation takes only two days from start to finish, so disruption and upheaval is kept to a minimum. We'll also take away all the rubbish associated with the installation. Since our first installation over 26 years ago, we we have come to understand what is important to our customers. New Doors, Worktops & Splashbacks. Same Kitchen Units. 🤍

Soft cashmere tones, marble-effect finishes and a few thoughtful additions have given this kitchen a beautiful, contemporary look.

Door, Worktop & Splashback Replacement

• Doors: Chelsea Matte Cashmere with integrated handles for a sleek, handleless finish.

• Worktops & Splashbacks: Formica Veneto Marble, with matching splashbacks continued above the extractor housing for a coordinated look.

• New Additions: Open glass shelving and a new wall unit housing a concealed extractor, replacing the previous extractor style.

• Sink & Tap: New sink fitted, with the customer’s existing tap retained.

• Flooring: 14m² of Linear Stone Shale LVT flooring, glued over the existing floor.

• Lighting: LED lighting incorporated into the panels for a subtle finishing touch.

The original kitchen units have been retained, with just two new additions. A completely different look without the need for a full rip-out!

Looks like a new kitchen. It isn’t. 👀

This one is predominantly a Door & Worktop Replacement, with just a couple of additions to make better use of the space.

The existing kitchen units have been retained, with BA Components Rowen doors in Super Matt Cashmere, finished with pewter cup handles and k***s.

We fitted 20mm Moderna quartz worktops CRL Stone, carrying the quartz up into a full-height splashback behind the sink, along with a new sink and tap.

We also added a new 1200mm unit and a slim w**e rack — a small change to the existing layout, rather than a full reconfiguration.

The majority of the existing appliances have stayed too, with a new induction hob fitted into the finished worktop.

A completely different look, without completely changing the kitchen.

Sometimes, the doors really are enough ✨🪄

This one was all about changing the look without changing what didn’t need changed.

We replaced the existing doors with Portree Cashmere Oak, finished with Ines D handles in black, while keeping the existing quartz worktops that we fitted for this customer a couple of years ago.

And that was it. No unnecessary worktop replacement — just a straightforward door and handle change that’s made the whole kitchen feel completely different.

Same kitchen. Much better use of the space. 🪄✨

This one had a proper rejig — not just a change of doors and worktops.

The hob and under-counter oven were originally on the right-hand side, but we moved the cooking area across to the main L-shape, adding new units to create a much neater, more defined cooking zone.

That then allowed us to completely rethink the opposite wall. Instead of standard-depth units, we created a shallower run of cabinetry, giving the customer plenty of additional storage and useful prep space while keeping the kitchen feeling open.

We also removed the original breakfast-bar area and opened the main kitchen right up into an L-shape.

Finished with Gemini slab J-handle doors in Cashmere Matt, 20mm White Shimmer quartz, an undermount ceramic sink and Washington stainless steel tap.

It’s a great example of what can be achieved when the bones of a kitchen are good, but the layout could work harder — retain what makes sense, add or alter units where needed, and make the whole space work better.

A completely fresh look, without replacing the kitchen.

This is a Door & Worktop Replacement, with the existing kitchen units retained and new finishes throughout to completely change the look of the space.

BA Components Rowan Shaker doors in Paint Flow Cashmere have been paired with Häfele Beiera 38mm pewter k***s & cup handles, and a Getalit Veneto Marble worktop.

The Dusty Pink coloured-glass splashback is such a lovely addition here — it brings a bit of warmth and colour against the Cashmere cabinetry, while Metropolis Smoke LVT flooring finishes the room beautifully.

We also supplied and fitted a new Hotpoint stainless-steel single oven, 60cm gas hob and chimney hood, along with a new Caple sink & tap.

Same kitchen units. A completely different finish.

It’s all in the details. 🪄✨

This may not be a brand-new kitchen, but the combination of finishes has completely changed how it looks and feels.

For this Door & Worktop Replacement, the existing kitchen units were retained and finished with Portree doors by Browns 2000 in Cashmere Oak.

Then come the details that really bring it together.

The 22mm Statiturio Bianco quartz was used across both the worktops and matching splashbacks. Up close, you can really see the delicate veining running through it — something that isn’t always easy to appreciate from a photograph of the full kitchen.

And we absolutely love the Greenwich k**b and pull handles in Oil Rubbed Bronze. Against the warmth of the Cashmere Oak, they’re such a beautiful finishing touch.

A new sink and tap complete the transformation, with the kitchen also adapted to accommodate a built-in double oven, 60cm gas hob and integrated hood.

It’s the quartz that catches your eye first… but there’s more to this kitchen than meets the eye.

And despite how it looks, this isn’t a brand-new kitchen!

The existing units around the original L-shaped kitchen were all retained. This was predominantly a Door & Worktop Replacement, with new doors, quartz worktops and matching splashbacks completely changing the overall look.

The CRL Statuario Oro quartz is the real standout, used for the worktops, matching splashbacks and continued beautifully into the window recess.

Paired with BA Components Rowen door in Smoke Green Matt and Ines Brushed Nickel handles, the whole kitchen has a really rich, elegant finish. We also fitted an undermount ceramic sink with a chrome tap to complement the handles.

We made a couple of clever additions too — adding a new base unit and making better use of the space behind what looks like a normal internal door with a 1700 x 600mm hidden pantry and pull-out storage.

So while the finished result might look like a complete rip-out and start again, the majority of this kitchen was already here.

Same core kitchen, completely different finish — with a little extra storage added where it made sense.

This kitchen already had plenty of character, so rather than changing the cabinetry, the upgrade was all about the surfaces.

We fitted Luna Bianco Honed quartz worktops with matching quartz splashbacks, bringing a lighter, cleaner finish to the existing timber kitchen.

A new sink and tap were fitted, along with the customer’s own hob and oven, and the dishwasher was installed as part of the work.

The existing kitchen stays — but the new quartz completely changes how the whole space feels.

No need to change a kitchen that’s already working well.

For this one, we kept the existing cabinetry and upgraded the surfaces with 30mm Palermo quartz worktops and matching upstands — completely changing the look of the space.

We also fitted a new ceramic sink and induction hob, with a brass tap still to be fitted to finish everything off.

A brilliant example of just how much impact new worktops can have while keeping the rest of the kitchen exactly where it is.

A completely different look, without completely changing the kitchen.

This kitchen already had a great layout, so we transformed it with a Door & Worktop Replacement, a few carefully placed additional units, and some finishing touches to bring everything together.

For this project we fitted:
• Slab Pistachio doors
• Slim Square 160 handles
• 20mm Arctic Shimmer quartz worktops
• Matching quartz upstands
• New sink and tap
• Additional units where they added the most value, while retaining the existing glass wall units, hinges and handles

The soft Pistachio paired with Arctic Shimmer quartz has completely changed the feel of the space, while the original glass units sit really naturally alongside the new finish.

A lovely mix of old and new, with everything working together as one kitchen.
