This full living room prep and skim came together beautifully thanks to the customer’s excellent groundwork — all wallpaper removed and the artex ceiling primed with blue grit before I arrived 👏

From there, it was a case of fitting fresh corner beads, carrying out some minor patch repairs, and finishing the room with a clean, professional skim throughout.

Another one wrapped up for Van der Laan Plastering 👌

This job needed a bit of TLC before the finish could go on. We patched up areas where the plaster and bonding had blown, filled where the old skirting had been removed, fitted new corner beads to the window for a sharp edge, and then skimmed all four walls to leave a smooth, fresh finish ready for decorating.

Clean lines, solid prep, and walls back to looking brand new. 💪

🎄2025 WRAPPED UP 🎄

We wrapped up the year by helping a lovely family get their home ready for a busy Christmas period. This project included:

✔️ Making good both sides of a blocked-up doorway
