Last year I had the absolute joy of creating this commission of Claire and Tom’s memorable engagement in front of the iconic Disneyland Paris castle and last weekend I had the pleasure of attending their wedding. To say the day was perfect would be an understatement, every detail was carefully considered and I loved every second of it. The venue was stunning, the bridal party looked fabulous and the bride and groom looked beautiful together. And I mean look at that dress! My favourite moment would have to be when the harpist played ‘I see the light’ from Claire and Tom’s favourite Disney movie, Tangled, as Claire made her beautiful entrance down the aisle.

Thank you Tom for trusting me with recreating what was such a special moment for you both. I feel so honoured to have been a small part of your journey to getting married. To Tom and Claire, I wish you nothing but happiness for your future together. Thank you for letting us northerners celebrate with you. Congratulations 🥂💐

Hi stranger! I’ve been a bit unintentionally MIA in 2026 so far so let’s get caught up.

With 2025 having been one of the biggest years yet for me aswell as my business I think I’ve been a little overwhelmed. It turns out renovating a home while running a small business while also working part time is not easy! While I may have taken a social media break I have been a very busy bee behind the scenes 🐝

1. 2026 started off beautifully with a little bit of snow. Dare I say I already have inspiration for this years Christmas range🙈
2. Last week I held my first art workshop of the year in North Shields and what a welcoming, lovely bunch of people. I love this part of my job and I always have to pinch myself that this is what I get to do. 🥹
3. Me and Sam have still been hard at work renovating our cottage- we’re now working on the living room and the walls are almost ready to paint after what feels like an eternity of peeling paint! 🏠🔨
4. It felt amazing getting back to painting when prepping for the workshop. Can’t wait to get cracking on new collections when the new studio is ready, aka the spare room. 🧘‍♀️
5. Homemade poffertjes for any helpers that come to help decorate! 🥞

This week was York St John University’s graduations and I can’t believe that now makes it just over two years since I graduated! Wow have they gone quick. 🎓🥂

I left York at the very start of my small businesses journey and, while still a work in progress, I’m so proud of all I’ve achieved and built in the last 2 years. Can’t wait to visit my favourite little city again soon.
