🚨 Not all CCTV installations are created equal...

We were recently called out after a customer lost the picture from one of their CCTV cameras.

The problem? It quickly became obvious why.

❌ Telephone cable being used instead of proper CCTV/data cable. ❌ A tangled mess of wiring hidden behind the recorder. ❌ Poor cable joints wrapped in tape. ❌ Untidy external cabling with little thought for reliability or future maintenance.

Rather than applying another temporary fix, we removed the faulty cable, drilled a new route and installed the correct cable from the camera back to the recorder. The result? A reliable picture, a much tidier installation and one very happy customer. 👍

Out with the old... 👋

Today we removed this old intruder alarm system for a customer in Whickham.

This system has served its purpose over the years, but like many older alarms, replacement parts are becoming difficult to source and reliability can become an issue. The external sounder had also seen much better days!

We'll soon be installing a modern alarm system with: ✅ Smartphone control ✅ Instant notifications ✅ Reliable sensors ✅ Easier day-to-day operation ✅ Future-proof technology
