Well it’s the end of the month and an announcement to a change of the business. I will no longer be doing any installation work/handyman work for the time being as I’ve decided to let my insurance expire. I will still be taking on commissions for furniture and piece work.

Finally finishing a restoration project, the old door frame and roof was rotten beyond repair, beginning to break down and was letting water into the building, the door was salvaged and treated/restored, a new frame matching as closely as possible to the original, new lead without the holes that caused the original rot, and over hang to prevent the water runnning behind the structure. Currently only coated with primer until the client decides a colour scheme, likely black and white in keeping with the original and surrounding area.

Just finished up a project for a client, replacing the small built in wardrobe with a larger custom built twin unit, deep enough to hang clothes in both, a set in internal shelves and one with a second rail for children’s sized clothing, a slight change in the design as we were going from originally having a further full set of shelves in between the units to a chalkboard and wall mounted tv with the shelves available to be installed after the little ones are past the drawing on walls phase, an integrated power supply for the tv, a custom air vent to centred to the chimney breast, all painted and finished in a satin white with a contrasting berry pop colour feature wall in the centre.
