Installing AC isolator switch outdoors
⚡ Today’s job:
Installing a rotary isolator for an air conditioning supply before the rain absolutely hammers down 🌧️😅

In this install:
✅ drilling through external walls
✅ fitting SWA armoured cable
✅ making off BW glands
✅ fitting rotary isolators
✅ D-Line SWA clips
✅ testing the circuit
✅ loop impedance testing
✅ neat external cable runs

I also go through:

why I feed the isolator from the top
using CT1 behind outdoor fittings
why I leave slack inside isolators
how I terminate SWA properly
neat ways to clip armoured cable externally

And yes… the trusty 36V Makita drill is STILL going strong after 5 years 💪⚡
