Not everything has to be uniformed.
Some. Properties like this one ooze character and to lay down a type of porcelain or slab would not have done this entrance any justice.

So keeping in the mind the period of the property and not wanting to lose the character ,working with the client and on a budget..we laid these charcoal blocks in a more traditional way.

Trimmed back the bushes and removed the weeds too.

I'ts that time of year.

The sweet sound of sping time for mowing for some pruning and cutting but when it the best time to cut this type of Tree/Shrub??

Known as the Cherry Laurel (Prunas Laurocerasus)

It's a dense fast growing shrub /tree and is common in many gardens

If you didn't get around yours late February to March...

The next best time is late May until June.
