🚨 Kitchen sockets & cooker tripping 🚨

Continuity & IR tests gave strange readings… one socket had no continuity.

Took it off and found severe corrosion — back box and terminals completely rusted and shorting out.

Checked the rest… all the same 😳

All replaced, retested, made safe.
Customer advised to get the damp issue sorted.

This is why we test properly.

🚨 Emergency Call-Out – Electrical Fault Found 🚨

Called out after a plumber detected voltage present on the neutral terminal and rightly advised an electrician to investigate.

After initial inspection, it was discovered the boiler was being fed from two separate power sources. This meant that even when the boiler was unplugged, the pins on the plug remained dangerously live ⚠️

Further investigation led to rectification and rewiring of the underfloor heating centre, eliminating the backfeed and restoring correct operation.

✅ Fault located
✅ System rewired correctly
✅ Property left safe and compliant

Another reminder why electrical issues should always be checked by a qualified electrician.
