Another driveway transformation… this one’s a little different though! 👀

This one started out with a bush in the way rather than an existing drive, here’s how we fixed that 👇🏻

Step 1 - Remove all hedges and stumps
Step 2 - Excavate down 170mm
Step 3 - Install closeboard fencing with concrete posts & gravel boards
Step 4 - Install subbase & 30mm screed of chippings
Step 5 - Create an even, flat layer
Step 6 - Install grids & fill with gravel

Out with the old, in with the new! 🚜✨

​We recently took on this transformation, removing an old lawn and overgrown hedge to gain some parking spaces.

In their place, we installed:

This was a messy one and groundwork’s isn’t always the prettiest of jobs! 🪏

Last week we installed a retaining wall due to water leaking out of this check dam. This was causing the bank to erode around it 😬

We added a concrete wall to act as a support and a water seal 💧 With this installed, the water will sit at the correct level and the bank won’t collapse! The water mark on the last image of the dam shows that the bank had reinstated and the water had risen to the top of the concrete which was the outcome we wanted 🤩

It’s not just big jobs we take on - we take on smaller jobs too 💪
