When shutting off the water isn't an option, you need the right tools for the job. 💧❄️

Today's challenge? Carrying out pipework with no way to isolate the water supply.
The solution: a pipe freezing machine. By creating a temporary ice plug inside the pipe, we were able to complete the work safely and efficiently without draining the entire system or causing unnecessary disruption.

🔧 Behind the scenes of running a plumbing business... 🔧

When people see the finished bathroom, the new boiler, or the repaired leak, that's only a small part of what goes into running our business.

What you don't always see are the early morning starts, the planning & ordering, the phone calls, completing quotes, Human Resources and often working well beyond the end of the day to make sure every customer is looked after.

As a small business, we wear a lot of hats. One minute we're under a sink fixing a leak, the next we're in the office doing paperwork or scheduling next week's work.
It's not always easy, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

We're incredibly grateful to our team for keeping the jobs running and our customers who continue to support us. Every recommendation, review, like, share and job booked helps us keep doing what we love.

We had an emergency call to a blocked and leaking sink—never something you want to deal with, especially when water starts going where it shouldn't!

We quickly diagnosed the problem, cleared the blockage, repaired the leak, and got everything back up and running, helping to prevent any further damage.

🔧 It's not always the finished bathroom or shiny new boiler that tells the story... 🏡

A lot of what we do is hidden behind the walls.
Here's a look at a recent first fix, where all the pipework is installed before the plasterboard goes up. It might not be the glamorous part of the job, but it's one of the most important.

Getting the first fix right means:
✅ Pipework is neatly planned and securely installed.
✅ Everything is in the right place for the second fix.
✅ A reliable plumbing system that's built to last.

Anyone can admire the finished taps and radiators, but it's the quality of the work you can't see that really matters.

Well... that wasn't how we planned to start the day!

A flat tyre left our van needing an unscheduled stop this morning. Not exactly ideal when you've got a full diary of jobs!

Thankfully, it was a quick trip to the garage, a new tyre fitted, and we were back on the road in no time.

Just one of those reminders that not every day goes to plan—but we'll always do everything we can to keep things moving and get to our customers as promised.

Right then... enough tyre trouble, back to what we do best!

🐀 Today's office had a bit of a... rat problem! 🚧

Not the most glamorous job, but someone's got to do it!
Climbing down a manhole to install a one-way valve, helping to stop some very unwelcome visitors is just one service that we offer.

It's not always shiny new bathrooms and heating work—sometimes it's the behind-the-scenes jobs that make the biggest difference.
