Quite frankly it's an absolute honour to work for some people.

Mr Holland, 93 of Annesley, served with the Combat Engineer detachment of the Royal Marines during WW2.

In the early morning of June 6th 1944, he was amongst the brave men who cleared Beach obstacles on the British beaches of Normandy. Later in the European Theatre he performed the same role during the Rhine River crossings.

He humbly sums up his experiences, laughing "I wouldn't do it again."

Well it's been a very busy week this week.

One conventional boiler replacement to a high efficiency Worcester Greenstar 24ri with a sealed system kit to provide impressive Heat-up times.

A conversion from a standard tank fed system to a Baxi duotec combi with a seven year warranty and replace all the radiator valves.

And a nice little combi swap to round the week off, removing a D rated appliance and replacing with band A, 90% efficient Baxi duotec combi with a very convenient and money-saving wireless programmable room thermostat!

Not to mention a boiler repair or two...

I think a few ales with the lovely Mrs and watching a certain rugby match is in order.
