Commercial EICR completed ⚡️

Recently carried out an EICR at Mapperley Park Tennis Club.

A good example of the variety of electrical installations that need inspecting outside of domestic properties, with distribution equipment, control equipment and external tennis court lighting all forming part of the installation.

Always good to get out and inspect something a little different.

🎉 NTM Electrical turns 1! ⚡

Today marks ONE YEAR since I took the leap and started NTM Electrical — and honestly, what a year it’s been! 🔥

I’m Max, the person behind NTM Electrical, and when I started the business a year ago I genuinely had no idea where I’d be 12 months later.

From small jobs and fault finding to rewires, consumer unit upgrades, EICRs, EV chargers and full electrical installations, I’ve been lucky enough to work with some brilliant customers across Nottingham and the surrounding areas.

The support over the last year has been absolutely massive. Every recommendation, review, repeat customer, shared post and even just a message asking for a quote has helped me build NTM Electrical into what it is today.

Progress update! 🔨⚡

Another kitchen extension first fix completed this week. All the wiring is now in place, ready for the next stage of the build before returning for second fix once the kitchen is fitted.

A recent project completed for a local hair salon Thirty Three Hairdressing in Nottingham ✂️⚡

After carrying out an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), we identified a number of issues that needed attention to ensure the installation was safe and up to current standards.

The work included:
• New consumer unit installation
• Rewiring the ground floor socket circuits
• Repairs to the lighting installation
• Full testing and certification

The salon is now back up and running with a safe and reliable electrical installation.

Full rewire started today on this renovation project in Nottingham ⚡

Property has been stripped back ready for all new electrics throughout before the renovation continues.

New lighting, sockets, smoke alarms and consumer unit going in throughout the house.

Another EV charger installation completed ⚡️

After being told the installation couldn’t be done through Octopus Energy 🐙, the customer contacted us for a second opinion — and we got it sorted. Clean cable routing, tidy FuseBox install, and fully tested ready for reliable home charging. 🚗🔋

Lighting upgrade completed this week at a barbers in Lady Bay 💡

Swapped out the old fittings for brighter, cleaner lighting to really lift the space.

Makes a big difference in places like this where good lighting matters.
