L2 Ignition Lockout? Not always a simple reset...

We attended a breakdown in BR6 on an Ideal Logic boiler that had completely locked out. Further investigation revealed a damaged heat exchanger causing the issue.

The solution:
✅ New heat exchanger
✅ New sump
✅ New electrode set

A sizeable repair, but a much better outcome than a full boiler replacement. Customer now has heating and hot water restored. 🔥💪

🔧 Faulty Diverter Valve Replaced in Tonbridge 🔧

A customer in Tonbridge contacted us because every time they turned on the hot water, the radiators were heating up as well!

After diagnosing the fault on a Vaillant combination boiler, we found the diverter valve had failed, causing hot water to circulate through the heating system when it shouldn't.

✅ Fault diagnosed
✅ Diverter valve replaced
✅ Heating and hot water tested
✅ Boiler operating correctly again
✅ Happy customer

⚠️ Boiler Safety Issue Resolved in Bexley (DA5)

Another customer left with a safe, fully operational heating system today in Bexley DA5.

During the inspection, we found the boiler was locking out due to spillages back inside the boiler. Further investigation revealed failed flue seals, which can compromise both safety and performance.

✅ Fault diagnosed
✅ New flue seals fitted
✅ Boiler tested and operating correctly
✅ Heating and hot water restored
✅ Customer left with a safe boiler

This is a great example of why regular servicing is so important. Small components such as flue seals can deteriorate over time and lead to much bigger problems if left unchecked.

🚿 No Hot Water? We've Got You Covered! 🔧

We were recently called out to a customer in Dartford (DA1) who had been left without any hot water.

After carrying out a full diagnostic check, we found a faulty cylinder thermostat as the culprit. We fitted a new one, but also discovered a 3-port motor had failed, so we replaced that too.

With both faults rectified, the hot water was restored and the heating system was back working exactly as it should.

Another happy boiler serviced in Eltham, SE9! 🔧

A routine boiler service and a few extra jobs to ensure everything was left safe, efficient and finished to a high standard.

This weekend a **2010 Vaillant ecoTEC Plus 418** had been booked in for its regular service.
