A beautiful transformation with our timber sash windows ✨

We love seeing how new timber windows can complement a period property while giving the interior a fresh, bright feel.

These traditional multi-pane sash windows were designed to suit the character of the original brick façade while bringing plenty of natural light into the rooms.

From the outside to the finished interior — a lovely result!

This is a project in London where we replaced the first-floor windows of this characterful period property. Both windows are vertical sliding sash windows with a tilt-in facility. From the outside, they retain the traditional appearance of sash windows, fitting naturally into the original brickwork and arched openings. But there is a practical advantage: the sashes can also tilt inwards, making the outside of the glass much easier to clean and maintain from inside the property.

The combination of the black finish, traditional sash proportions and original brick detailing works beautifully here, while the tilt-in function adds a modern level of convenience without changing the character of the property.

A good example of how traditional aesthetics and modern functionality can work together. 🖤

A Georgian-style home brought together with beautifully proportioned timber windows and doors.

This is a project we completed in 2020, in which we supplied and installed windows and doors throughout the property. We’ve recently received these updated photographs, showing the home after further exterior work was completed.

The design combines Georgian-style casement windows, sash windows and French doors. A lovely example of how carefully designed timber joinery can bring together different parts of a home without losing its original character.

Always nice to come back to a familiar project 😊

We completed this extension back in 2021, supplying and installing all timber windows. And now we’ve returned to carry out the next stage — replacing the existing windows in the main house.

Great to see our original work still looking fresh and performing exactly as it should ✔️

Throwback to 2021 ✨

A lovely property where we installed new box sash windows throughout, keeping the traditional character while improving comfort and efficiency.

The final result speaks for itself. The crisp white frames against the red brickwork make such a difference. A great example of how sympathetic window upgrades can completely elevate a period home.
