Such an amazing time in the Butterfly house at Blenheim Palace . It really felt magical....and it was stuffed full of plants that grow easily outside in our garden in Spain

Visit to Blenheim Palace DIDN'T disappoint & I only got to see part of it.

I'll be back particularly as I didn't get to visit the Butterfly 🦋house - closed because it was too hot - & bit of the estate stamped with the magic of Capability Brown

I last visited Waterperry Gardens in the Spring so it's good to have come back today to view the transition in blooms from Spring to Summer. As you can see it didn't disappoint . Not sure whether it's been featured on BBC Gardeners' World Magazine BBC Gardeners World ? If it hasn't it should be

Over the next few weeks I expect to be visiting weekly just so I don't miss out, particularly on which had soooooo many more buds than blooms today. Exciting

For the last four seasons I've tried, and failed, to grow dahlias successfully.
Every year I'd get foliage, but never the beautiful flowers I'd hoped for.
This year I changed a few things and finally...
Flowers!
It may seem a small thing, but fellow gardeners will understand just how satisfying these moments are.
Gardening is full of failures, experiments and lessons. Which makes successes like this all the sweeter.
