Today we were invited back to St Mawgan Church for their Flower Festival after completing Phase 1 of the restoration works.

Finishing on time and on budget was something we were proud of, but being welcomed back for lunch was an even bigger compliment.

It’s been a privilege to play a small part in preserving such an incredible building, and we’re looking forward to returning for the next phase.

External cladding going on and plastering well underway — starting to really bring the whole place together now. It’s one of those stages where you can finally see the finish line coming… and it’s looking 👌🏻

Sundays are important.
A chance to slow it down, take stock, and get ready for the week ahead.

Big week coming up—cladding, plastering, meetings … all go.

But today has been about a bit of rest, gardening, a clear head, time with the family and being ready to hit it properly tomorrow.

Grateful for the work. Grateful for the pause ❤️

We’re currently working on a beautiful Grade II listed cob cottage in St Mawgan, renewing the roof while preserving its 300-year-old trusses. It’s an incredible challenge but a privilege to keep history alive! Can’t wait to see this one finished.
