Walnut is a beautiful material to work with in a kitchen: it deepens into a rich, golden honey tone as it ages, and its natural grain brings a real sense of character to every surface it touches.
A sliding dresser door opens on a concealed track to reveal cookbook and ornament storage. Tucked into a lit larder is a dedicated coffee station with internal drawers, so everything stays out of sight until it is needed. Cabinetry frames the walk through into the utility and bathroom, and walnut burr is clad in a lit niche for more depth.
A Legrabox eco top bin sits beneath a drawer above for everyday recycling and waste, a 150mm Legrabox spice pull out makes use of even the narrowest gaps, and a corner pull out with a heavy load rating turns an awkward corner into genuinely usable storage. Solid dovetail walnut drawers run throughout, with stainless steel pan storage below the hob and oven to match the 4mm thick stainless steel worktop.
The hob itself is a Fisher & Paykel downdraft venting model, drawing steam and odours away at the surface rather than overhead, so the space stays open and uninterrupted above the cooking zone. Fisher & Paykel appliances feature throughout, alongside a Quooker boiling water tap with chilled, filtered and sparkling water.
