The JOY of Groundwork - what a stunning week it’s been. Thank you to G&Ms Bench Joiner for moonlighting with me on this BIG JOAB. Porcelain Patio’s are a “dedication” but luckily, my team have been a godsend. We’re still looking for our 3rd wheel - to match the two Loui/Lews - Jamie loves his Bench, but working outdoors is a different league of endorphins - beautiful sunshine, spring showers and fresh air. Putting in a graft and feeling like you’ve actually done something with your day.

Here at CSR, we are expanding our team.

VACANCY: Groundwork Operative

Ideally suited to someone with labouring experience, either already know how to work out levels and quantity calculations, or able to learn. Must have a full drivers licence and capable of keeping up stamina wise, with the hard graft required. Experience in plant operations and previous groundworks desirable but not a necessity.

START DATE: ASAP

ONSITE JOINER - VACANCY:
We are very much about finding the right person for this role, it’s a niche job and requires a certain type.
So, whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been doing joinery work for a while, we will make an offer in line with the Real Living Wage (£13,45 Over 21s) as well as considering your pre-existing experience – offering an hourly rate that reflects your individual skill and experience.
You do not need to be qualified / ‘time served’ for this role. You do need to have a full drivers licence and a decent understanding of onsite joinery work. I.E. You need to be able to use and carry out small hand tool tasks, know how to square and level, have experience with roof & truss work/panel fixing/window and door fitting.
Finally - you need to have a clear understanding of conduct, timekeeping and the importance of customer service / business reputation.
