Over the Easter period, MCS was pleased to donate Easter eggs to the South Lincs Swifts U15 Girls team, giving the players a well-earned treat. ⚽ 🐰

The team is coached by our Head of Bids & Tenders, Chris Salmon, who dedicates his spare time to supporting the girls as they compete in the Cambridgeshire Girls Football League.

Braving the outdoors (and a slightly chillier night than expected!), we spent the evening raising awareness and funds for homelessness in support of Light Project Peterborough

A humbling, eye-opening experience and a great reminder of why initiatives like this matter so much. Proud of the team for getting involved and making a difference 💙

🎉 McIntyre Achieves Aico Platinum Partner Status 🎉

We are proud to announce that McIntyre has officially been recognised as an Aico Platinum Partner, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing partnership with one of the industry’s leading manufacturers of domestic fire and carbon monoxide alarms.

Earlier this week, Graeme Taylor, Chris Salmon, and Josh Kable travelled to Ireland to visit Aico’s manufacturing facility, where they had the opportunity to receive this prestigious recognition in person. The visit provided valuable insight into Aico’s operations and reinforced the strong working relationship between our two organisations.

Apprentice of the year

We’re incredibly proud to share that Leah, one of our brilliant apprentices, has made it through to the Aico Awards Apprentice of the Year Finals 2026! 🎉🔥

On Tuesday 17th February, Leah headed to the JTL Training Centre in Birmingham, where she completed both an exam and a hands‑on practical assessment as part of the judging process.

She now awaits the next exciting step where the top six highest‑scoring finalists will be invited to the official awards ceremony, where the overall winner will be announced.

Leah’s hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm shine through everything she does, and we’re absolutely thrilled to see her talent recognised at this level.
