ARE YOU EXPERIENCED IN YOUR TRADE BUT NEVER GOT YOUR NVQ?

This is for the experienced tradespeople out there.

You might have been working in construction for years.

You know your trade.
You know your way around a site.
You probably learned most of what you know by actually doing the job.

But you may never have got around to getting the qualification.

That's where Pro Nobis comes in.

We help experienced construction workers gain their NVQ through their existing work — without having to go back to college, sit in a classroom or take time out of work.

We currently offer NVQs across a wide range of construction trades, including:

Carpentry
Bricklaying
Painting & Decorating
Flooring
Wall & Floor Tiling
Plastering
Groundworks & Civil Engineering
Roofing
Dry Lining
Building Maintenance & Refurbishment
External Rendering

We also offer Level 3 Occupational Work Supervision, Level 4 Site Supervision and Level 6 Construction Management NVQs for those moving into supervisory or management roles.

The important bit?

We're not trying to teach an experienced tradesperson how to do their job.

We assess the skills and competence you're already using at work and help you build the evidence needed for your NVQ.

Assessments are work-based and flexible, so you can continue working while you're being assessed.

If you've been thinking:

"I really should get my NVQ sorted..."

but you've never got around to it, send me a message.

Tell me what trade you work in and how long you've been doing it, and I'll let you know what options might be available.

No pressure. No obligation. Just a conversation.

Thinking about getting your Rendering NVQ?

If you’re already working in rendering and have been considering getting your skills formally recognised, it’s worth understanding your options first.

At Pro Nobis, we offer the Level 2 NVQ in External Rendering – Hand or Machine Applied for experienced renderers working in the trade.

Because the assessment is work-based, you don’t need to put your tools down and go back to college.

Instead, the assessment looks at the work you already do and the skills you use on site.

Whether you’re applying render by hand or using mechanical application methods, we can explain how the qualification works and what’s involved in the assessment process.

If you’re not sure whether the NVQ is right for the work you carry out, that’s absolutely fine.

We’re happy to have a chat, understand what you do and explain your options — with no obligation to enrol.

Sometimes it’s simply useful to have a conversation and find out what’s involved.
