This job involved installing two photocell controlled external lights, allowing the outside lights to automatically switch on when it gets dark and off again when daylight returns providing reliable lighting without the customer having to manually operate the switch.
A big focus on this installation was the finish and presentation. Rather than simply running cables across the walls, we installed black conduit throughout, giving the installation a much cleaner and more professional appearance while also providing additional mechanical protection to the wiring
The conduit was carefully routed around the garage door and walls, with neat bends, secure fixings and consistent spacing to keep everything looking uniform. The black finish also blends in really well with the existing garage door, making the installation much less intrusive.
All accessories and connections were installed neatly leaving the customer with an installation that is safe, functional and looks the part.
It’s the small details like the choice of containment and how it’s installed that can make a huge difference to the overall finish of an electrical job.
