Before & After – Sauna Transformation 🔥

Another project recently completed, giving this outdoor sauna a full refresh and long-lasting protection.

All pinholes were carefully filled using Toupret wood filler, then fully sanded back to achieve a smooth, even surface. The exterior was finished with 3 coats of Sadolin Classic in Ebony, creating a rich, durable finish built to withstand the elements.

To complete the look, the door and architrave were finished in Sadolin Classic Heritage Oak, adding a warm contrast that really brings the whole build together.

All woodwork was professionally primed with Caparol Haft Primer and finished in Caparol Capaflow Satin, delivering a crisp, brilliant white finish that’s built to last.

Ceilings and selected walls were finished in Tikkurila Nova 2 (White) for a flawless, modern look, while the lounge features a bold deep red from the Valspar Tough & Durable range, adding real depth and character to the space.

Another project completed on this 2-year-old new build, where early signs of settlement cracks and movement had started to appear.🖌️

We carried out detailed preparation throughout, focusing especially on the stair string which had shifted. This was carefully raked out, filled with expanding foam, reinforced using Toupret Fill Flex, then fine filled and caulked to help accommodate ongoing movement and prevent further cracking.

The hallway, stairs, landing, and bedroom ceilings were finished in Johnstone’s Ultra Flat Matt for a smooth, modern look. Walls were coated in Crown Clean Extreme, providing a durable, hard-wearing finish ideal for everyday living.

In the bathroom and WC, where mould had begun to develop, surfaces were fully treated and finished with Crown Clean Extreme Mould Inhibiting Scrubbable Matt, ensuring a long-lasting, hygienic, and easy-to-maintain result.
All woodwork was completed in Bedec Aqua Advanced Satin, delivering a clean, tough, and professional finish throughout.
