The property has undergone extensive redevelopment throughout - the earliest photos uploaded will show this!

Next steps will include some external landscaping and the installation of a new driveway.

We have just completed this ground floor extension for a family in Whitecliff, Poole and we are thrilled with the finished product. We have transformed what was a fairly small kitchen into a large kitchen/dining/family area with separate utility room and downstairs toilet.

We fitted a large orangery window in to the flat roof, which provides plenty of light to the whole room and makes it feel bright and spacious. There are also sliding doors that span the back of the house and lead on to a new decking area, which creates a separate, raised seating area for inside/outside entertaining.

We fitted a brand new kitchen with granite worktop; new Karndean flooring laid complete with under floor heating throughout.

This project has totally transformed a regular 2-storey townhouse in Baiter Park into an exceptional 3-storey modern living space. The house has been reconfigured to ensure the beautiful views of Poole harbour and Brownsea Island are the focus of every room.

A large entrance hall now leads to two bedrooms, a bathroom and a garage/workshop. The first floor has been converted into one large living space with stunning views through the 5m wide window, opening on to a frameless glass balcony. The loft has also been converted to provide a large double bedroom and ensuite with velux windows looking out to sea.

Each floor is connected by the structural centrepiece of a floating staircase with glass balustrade and stainless steel handrail.

This has been a great project to manage and it has been so rewarding to see the dramatic transformation and to see how pleased the clients are with their new home.

Originally this property was very unloved, there was damp throughout and the kitchen, bathrooms and all living spaces had been trashed by previous tenants.

Over the course of 6 months Baker Home Developments totally reconfigured the layout of the property as well as adding a new double height extension to the rear.

The property was fully rewired, new central heating system installed; major structural changes, two new bathrooms installed, new kitchen fitted, as well as new carpentry and decoration throughout.

The property is now a high specification 3 double bedroom dwelling with off street parking for two cars.

Needless to say, the value of this property has substantially increased with the completion of these works.

Kitchen Renovation: By knocking the cramped hallway and kitchen into one space a bright and airy kitchen diner was created.
Internally the room was fully rewired, new plumbing installed, fully plastered and decorated. The floor was tiled and a new kitchen was fitted.
Externally the front of the property was rendered and painted; with new glazing installed.
