More than midway through framing this structural attic room for a brand new house build! 🪵🏗️

🏡 LLANMILOE ROOF UPDATE: DAYS 8 & 9!

Monday and Tuesday saw a final push to get this massive roof structure completed.

A massive thank you to Chippies Rob and Tommy for their hard work, skill, and dedication in helping us get this huge build over the line. 🛠️

What’s next? there are still a few small finishing touches left to tick off this roof as completed.. . . . . . . Ross will be making the journey back this coming Monday to wrap everything up and officially finish the roof phase.

Since it’s a long drive down, it wont take Ross long to get this roof done and dusted............... We will go along for the ride, bringing the Kids and dog to explore the beautiful local scenery before heading back home. 🌊🚗

While pushing hard to finish the Llanmiloe roof early next week, Ross is motivated by a great reward. As soon as that final timber is secure, he’s off fishing for a couple of days with our youngest boy, who is bringing his friend along too!

It’s the perfect break before the summer holidays slip away. ⛺🌲Then comes the big one. the boys officially start secondary school! Aaaaarrrrggghhhhhh! Where has the time gone?! 🤯🎒

Once we survive those first couple of weeks of the new school chaos, it’s straight into a completely different project, Ross is moving away from roofs to tackle a couple of gorgeous oak and glass staircase refurbishments.

On a personal note, all this stair talk has us dreaming about our own home! The stairs, passage, and inner porch are right at the very top of our own renovation list.

First impressions count, and I truly believe a beautiful entrance sets the tone for the whole house. I can't wait to bring back that grand, welcoming Edwardian character right from the moment you step through our front door! 🏡🚪✨

DAY 7 - Officially entering the final stretch with just a couple days left on this massive structural stage!

You can’t miss those dramatic, moody skies that were overhead yesterday ☁️💨 Ross never lets a dark sky slow him down After surviving the heavy-duty floor glue earlier this week, a bit of rain definitely won't stop the grind! 🪵🪚

Look at this towering roof frame now, the transformation is absolutely unreal. A bit more timber needed then a last push early next week to get this stage completely locked down and wrapped up! 🔨✨
