Today, we're shining a light on the lovely Edmund by sharing a case study created with his sister, Angela.

Following the loss of their dad, Angela worried that Edmund would become isolated and lose his sense of purpose. In this heartfelt story, she reflects on the incredible changes she's seen in her brother – from growing in confidence and embracing new experiences to coming home excited to share stories from his week.

This afternoon, Fiona and Sarah attended a celebration event at Grŵp Llandrillo-Menai for students who will soon be coming to the end of their college journey. The event highlighted the opportunities available to young people as they move on to the next stage of their lives.

We had the pleasure of meeting with students and their parents to discuss our social enterprises and the pathways we offer towards paid employment. For parents of young people with additional needs, planning for the future can be an uncertain and sometimes daunting time, particularly when it involves changes to established routines and daily structure. We hope that through these conversations we were able to provide reassurance that there are many options available, with support and opportunities tailored to the needs, strengths, and aspirations of each individual.

A huge thank you to Leah and her team for welcoming us to the event. We had some truly meaningful conversations and look forward to building on these connections and working with you and your students in the future.

To mark , we wanted to share something special.

Behind the scenes, we've been working with North Wales Together on a series of videos highlighting the journeys of people who have found meaningful employment.

First up is our wonderful Peer Ambassador, Freya, alongside her mum, Sian. Together, they share Freya's journey into work, the challenges she faced along the way, and how, with support from the team, she overcame them. They also talk about how becoming a Peer Ambassador at CoOptions has helped Freya find purpose, build her confidence and thrive.
