Unfortunately on this one the owner had just paid thousands of pounds on what they thought was a new felt roof.
Almost immediately it started leaking and we had to give the owner the bad news of the condition of the roof installed.
After stripping the top layer, which was hardly stuck, it was found to be saturated underneath.
The existing roof was also still in place in some parts and the remaining roof had no vapour barrier.

Works we carried out -

Full roof stripped back to timber and primed
Self adhesive alusam vapour barrier installed
Timber cladding to edges.
New Lead flashings to front and rear elevations.
50mm insulation installed with insulated washers.
New fleece backed Fatra fully adhered system installed.

All works completed at Murrayfield, Edinburgh

Alusam vapour barrier
50mm Tr27 insulation with insulated plugs.
Finished with Fatra fleece backed system with 100mm trims.
Standing seam detail added to take run of water from upper roof.
