Pest Control Technician - Teesside

Exopest Ltd are a well established pest control company that prides itself on doing the best work possible across Teesside and North Yorkshire with a clear focus on customer satisfaction.
Would you like a job with a wide variety of tasks. A typical day could be:
Working in manholes treating rats and identifying sewer faults
Clearing houses/gardens of rubbish
Treating wasps nests
Performing needle-sweeps in various locations

- Salary starting at minimum wage and increasing on skills and qualifications obtained

Working hours are aimed at keeping a quality work/life balance, we work approx 9 to 5 but this is variable, and do not usually work weekends but you may be asked occasionally.
28 days holiday per annum, this includes Bank Holidays
Van, iPad and tools supplied
Duties:
Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues and develop relevant treatment plans
Apply appropriate pest control treatments using specialist equipment and rodenticides/insecticides while ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Monitor treatments and be able to adjust treatments as necessary
Follow strict Health and Safety regulations at all times
You - all essential:
Have a full driving licence
Excellent communication skills with customers
Be literate in English and perform basic maths. You will be required to keep accurate work reports and do basic invoicing
Can work independently, ‘think on your feet’ and have an eye for problem solving
Be able to pass a DBS check
Be keen to gain pest control qualifications if you don’t have them already. We expect technicians to be RSPH Level 2 qualified or to work towards this.
