We turned into the 4th emergency services this week 🚨

A local restaurant/hotel had a fault which resulted in a loss of power, causing them to have to close. They contacted us on Wednesday and by end of play Thursday, they were back up and running with a new distribution board 🪛

Having been recently tested by another contractor, we found a few issues straight away, including a lot of heat damage on the neutral bar, as you can see from the pictures 🔥

Jak and Jacob did a big shift and stopped till 22:30 on Thursday night to make sure the business could reopen today ✅

Dealt with Northern Power Grid and we now have a plan for going forwards, to ensure this sort of thing doesn’t happen again.

Prevention is better than cure, and it proves that having your installation tested by a competent contractor is worthwhile 💯

Signing off the week with another happy customer ✅

Last month we installed a new EV charger at this customers house and noticed the distribution board was outdated and not up to current regs, so advised an upgrade 🪛

Jacob (not Harrison this time) went yesterday and upgraded the DB. Bob was very impressed with the finished product.

We pride ourselves on the quality of work, and messages like these really show that ⭐️

On Wednesday, we took the team to the races as a way of saying thank you for all their hard work, commitment and professionalism throughout the year.

The long hours, early starts and dedication don’t go unnoticed, so it was great to get everyone together, enjoy a few drinks, have a laugh and hopefully back a few winners! 🍻🐎

We’re incredibly proud of the team we’ve built, and it’s their hard work that allows BSA Electrical Ltd to continue delivering quality electrical services across the region.

✅ Another successful annual NICEIC Assessment completed! ⚡

We're pleased to say we've once again passed our annual NICEIC assessment with a great outcome.

The assessor was extremely complimentary about the way BSA Electrical is run, highlighting the organisation of both our office systems and the high standard of our electrical work. They were also very happy with Luke and Ken's technical knowledge and their commitment to working in line with the latest BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.

Some of the assessor's comments included:
✔️ Highly organised office audit with all documentation readily available.
✔️ Domestic and commercial work completed to a high standard.
✔️ Good technical knowledge demonstrated throughout.

Start of another week. Ready to push towards the end date on our biggest job since being in business.

A commercial kitchen rewire that has really tested us. Jak has done a stellar job running this job so far. Loads of containment, lots of heavy duty cabling and a lot of large distribution boards going in 🔌

After a delay to the original start date, it’s starting to get pulled round and we’re seeing light at the end of the tunnel (pardon the pun) 💡

It’s been a massive opportunity for us as a small electrical contracting business to have this opportunity to deliver, and that’s exactly what we’re doing 👊

Another project boxed off ✅

Lighting replacements carried out, followed by replacing the lighting busbar as it was full of faults.

New trunking installed and sockets made off at height for the new Robus light fittings with in-built PIR’s to make them as energy efficient as possible 💡

This project grew arms and legs but we have managed to get it finished amongst trying to get through the rest of our ongoing projects!

Busy day installing new bedroom mirrors, bedside lights and new pendants in the accommodation at the Fleece in Richmond 🐑

We’ve started 2026 with the most work we’ve ever had. Thanks to everyone for baring with us whilst we get through the first few weeks back!
