Been quiet on posting due to being so busy. We’ve been on phase two of a job in Gainford, but we managed to fit this new roof in for a customer working with RDS Property maintenance .

🟥New roof with new felt lath eve protection and fibre cement slates
🟥 All new ridge on a dry ridge system.
🟥 All new lead works
🟥 New black fascia soffit and guttering
🟥 large chimney removed
🟥 New roof to two lower levels
All cleaned up start to finish in 4 days.
Said it before and I’ll say it again, we have the best team of lads who turn in every day to make sure the best of job is completed for the customer.

Two lead flashings we replaced yesterday.
The old lead had been installed with out a board below it and done in two pieces causing it to sag and spilt. We stripped below both windows installed board to hold the lead, re leaded and re slated it.

This one’s been a hard one.
3 long days, getting to job at 7.45 leaving site at 6pm.
A double up and over with a box gutter in the middle and a flat roof at the back.
No access round the back so all waste up and over two roofs to the front, and then new materials back up and over twice again.
Concrete double pans on the 3 rear elevations, and clay pan tiles on the front to match the conservation area.
Dry ridge and dry verge.
3 chimneys leaded and two walls lead flashed.
GRP box gutter
GRP flat roof.
Very hard work this one but the team of T R Property Maintenance and RDS Property maintenance working together to get the jobs done to a high standard and complete when we say it will be (my fault I probably should have said 4 days for this one 😂)

Another big bungalow done in Barton in 2 days.
Second one done in the same street.
120sqm meters stripped felted and lathed and loaded the first day, and then tiled ridged and verged the second day.
Working with RDS Property maintenance we get cracked on, and don’t mess around, meaning less disruption for the customer. All our work comes with a 25 year guarantee and we pride ourselves on being quick but also the best at what we do.
A lot of roofers use a skip where as we have a tractor and trailer which takes all waste away the same day, we have a tile bumper which saves a day loading tiles, we don’t stop every couple of hours for breaks, we get the job done to the best of standard with the least disruption to the customers day to day life. ⛏⛏

A re roof we started on Monday and finished Tuesday at 10am.
9 hours in total for the roof to be stripped, new felt and lath, eve and bird protection. New ridge on a dry ridge system, dry verge system and new lead works to the chimney. Scaffold removed the same day so the customer can enjoy their new roof.

Another GRP completed yesterday in saltburn. New 18mm boards, all correct trims and a 2 layer GRP system.

After 4 days of relaxing in Tenerife we are straight back at it, GRP bay in Middleton Tyas done with all new boards and trims.
We’re working in Saltburn and Ripon the rest of the week, so if anyone would like a price for work give us a call.
Next week we’re on two new roofs in Catterick and Richmond and from then we have two large jobs lasting 4 weeks and 6 weeks booked in, but with our second team RDS Property maintenance we can keep up with any work that is put our way.
