🌪️ Storm Damage? It’s What We Do Best 🌪️
Another successful project completed following severe weather damage — this time a large fallen tree impacting a beautiful 200-year-old barn conversion.
Storm-related incidents like this are unfortunately becoming more common. High winds and saturated ground can cause even healthy trees to fall, often leading to significant structural damage to roofs, walls, and surrounding areas. In many cases, the priority is making the property safe and watertight as quickly as possible, followed by carefully planned reinstatement works to restore the building to its original condition — especially important with older or character properties.
This is exactly where we come in — rapid response, making safe, and high-quality reinstatement… it’s what we do best.
On this project, our team acted quickly to assess the damage, coordinate safe removal of the tree, and carry out temporary repairs before completing a full restoration — ensuring the finished result blended seamlessly with the original structure.
⭐ Customer Feedback:
"We would give DNH Construction a 5-star rating for the manner in which they came to repair our 200-year-old barn conversion which had been struck by a very large falling tree during one of the recent gales.
The assessor came out very promptly to assess the damage and authorised the removal of the tree. The construction workmen again quickly came down to do a temporary repair and make the property watertight and later, at an appropriate time to both ourselves and their work schedule, they completed the repair, matching old tiles to our existing roof tiles so that you would never know there had been any damage.
An excellent job, well carried out!"
Great work by the team from first response through to final finish 👏
