Pictures from yesterday’s job at Brecks Post Office📮
As you can see from the before pictures it was a bit of mess with cables everywhere, equipment hanging off the wall due to rotten wooden back boards and dated equipment.

✅ We have upgraded the existing consumer unit to a new Hager type fitted with Type 2 surge protection and all circuits covered by RCBO protection.
✅ Installed a fresh piece of timber back board so everything is securely fastened.
✅ Removed redundant circuits and old equipment.
✅ Re-terminated the flat and garage unit to their own supplies.
✅ Fully tested and NICEIC certified.
✅ Building control notified.

Just wanted to give a mention to the Brecks Post Office owners/staff too who were most helpful on the day, but most people will know that already if you take your parcels and letters there 📦 ✉️ 😊

It was nice to receive this certificate of thanks from B&E Together as I had a great young lad from Wickersley School and Sports College recently for work experience.
The younger generation does get some flack (and sometimes rightly so! 😅) but I can’t speak highly enough of the young man who helped me for the week. He listened, got stuck in and was polite with customers.
It was the first time as a company we have done this and I must say it’s been a positive experience all round 👍🏻

⚡️Consumer unit upgrade today ⚡️
Out went the existing, dated consumer unit which was not secured properly, untidy and not up to current wiring regulations.
In with the new consumer unit, which comes with a Type 2 surge protection device and individual circuit RCBOs.
All fully tested, certified and notified to the local building control authority 📋✅

In Dinnington today carrying out some remedial work for Eurovalve Ltd. We replaced a faulty RCD socket in the warehouse and replaced a socket in the meeting room which had signs of burning.

Today’s job in Bramley replacing some outside lighting for a great customer. The customer had purchased these stylish black lights and we were happy to get them installed for them.

Thought it was appropriate to post this after the hot weather we’ve been having lately! ☀️🥵
Customer had bought a ceiling fan and we were more than happy to install it… then have a cool down under it for 10 minutes after! 😅

Something a little bit different to the outside lighting customers tend to go for and I must admit I wasn’t sure how this would turn out when the customer said what they envisioned but I think we’ve delivered 🤩
This is a custom made kit from JCC Lighting, where the customer has the ability to change the colour of the LED strip to whatever they like, whether it be a stylish cool white or colour changing for Christmas, this has the lot for any occasion!! 🔴🔵🟢🟣🟡⚪️
It has 3 zones, one for the long stretch across the porch, one for the square above the door and one for down either side of the front door, all controlled separately or together with a handheld remote.
