WE’RE INTO THE FINAL QUARTER OF 2026!

With just over two months of 2026 remaining, it’s hard to believe how quickly the year has flown by — and what a year it’s been!

2026 has been our busiest year yet, and there’s certainly no slowing down as we head towards the finish line!

We’ve kicked off the final quarter by completing another two 32,000-bird poultry developments, bringing our total poultry projects for 2026 so far to an incredible 256,000 birds! 🐔

And we’re not stopping there, with a further two 32,000-bird developments due to get underway in the coming weeks!

From poultry developments and grain storage to industrial buildings, concrete floors, steelwork, cladding and major earthworks, our teams have been busy across Scotland throughout the year.

We’ve poured and polished thousands of square metres of concrete, shuttered kilometres of walls, moved thousands of tonnes of material and fabricated, delivered and erected steel structures across the country.

And there’s still plenty more to come before the year is out!

And a packed programme taking us right through to the end of 2026.

AND WE’RE ALREADY LOOKING AHEAD TO 2027!

Next year is shaping up to be busier than ever, with some of the largest projects we’ve ever tackled already in the pipeline!

✅🐓🥚That’s another 32,000-bird poultry project complete!🥚🐓✅

We’re delighted with how this one has turned out.

While each of these projects may be similar in scope, no two are ever quite the same. Every site has its own challenges and individual requirements, and this one was no different.

From the foundations through to the concrete and finishing touches, our team has delivered another project to be proud of.

And there’s plenty more happening…

🔹 A new 16,000-bird unit near Arbroath already underway.

Rapid Project Development Ltd is looking for an experienced Senior Accounts & Business Administrator to join our team.

This is a varied role covering the day-to-day accounts function alongside payroll, compliance and wider business administration.

Key areas include:

• Purchase & sales ledger
• Payroll, VAT & CIS
• Supplier reconciliations & credit control
• Invoicing and finance administration
• Purchasing & supplier liaison
• General business administration

Previous Sage experience is essential.

We’re looking for someone experienced, organised and dependable who is confident managing their own workload and taking responsibility for the day-to-day accounts function.

Another Project Complete — and Another Awarded!

As we complete this major industrial development in Inverness, we’re delighted to have just been awarded a similar project for the same client in Central Scotland, with work due to start later this year.

There’s no better endorsement than being asked to do it again.

We began Phase One in Inverness back in September 2020, with the development expanding through four separate phases, each delivered and timed around our client’s operational requirements.

The finished result:

🔹 4 phases – now one complete structure
🔹 8 individual structures brought together
🔹 88m × 60m overall footprint
🔹 Around 2 million cubic feet of covered storage
🔹 Clear spans of up to 88 metres using substantial carrier beams
🔹 Phase Four added two 22.5m × 30m structures, with 20 rafters supported by just 4 new stanchions weighing around 4 tonnes each

A huge thank you to our client for their continued trust in RPD, and to everyone involved in delivering the project over all four phases.

🌐 We’ve given rapidpd.com a bit of an upgrade!

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been working away behind the scenes in the evenings, giving our slightly outdated website a much-needed revamp.

We wanted the new site to better reflect who we are, what we do, and the scale and variety of projects we deliver.

The whole site has been done in-house — just like our projects. From the initial ideas through to the final details, it’s been built by us, for us.

After a fair few late nights and plenty of tweaking, we’re pretty happy with how it’s turned out!

NEARING COMPLETION IN THE HIGHLANDS 🏗️

We’re now nearing completion of the steel er****on phase on this major long-term project in the Highlands.

With Phase Four almost erected, it’s a good time to look at the scale of what has been delivered over the past five years.

🏗️ 8 structures in total
📐 Overall footprint – 88m x 60m
📦 Around 700,000 cubic feet of covered storage
🔩 Phase Four – two additional 22.5m x 30m structures
💪 Clear spans of up to 88m achieved using substantial carrier beams
🏗️ Phase Four alone – 20 rafters supported by just 4 new stanchions, each weighing around 4 tonnes

What started five years ago is now taking its final shape, with the last of the structural steelwork being erected and the full scale of the project finally coming together.

A fantastic repeat project to have been involved with from the beginning — and one we’re looking forward to seeing fully completed.

It’s been hectic as always at RPD… so hectic, in fact, we forgot to introduce the latest addition to the fleet! 👀

Our newly acquired JCB 150X HD made its first outing at Turriff Show and is currently being fitted with an Engcon tiltrotator system.

But what makes this one really stand out?

When the boss asks for something a little different… you CUSTOMISE IT. 😎

Designed and fabricated in-house — bespoke illuminated signage to give this machine a look of its own. 💡

Delighted with how it’s turned out!

Move It Mondays 🎶🚛🎶

Today, the first artic load of steel for our current industrial project in the Highlands left the RPD yard.

And it’s not quite our usual load…

With 18m-long carrier beams on board, our extendable trailer had to be stretched out to the max to cope with the length!

Load one arrived safely on site this afternoon, with another two full artic loads of steel due for delivery tomorrow.

Fabricated in our workshop. Loaded in our yard. Delivered to site.
