Move It Mondays 🎶🚛🎶

Today, the first artic load of steel for our current industrial project in the Highlands left the RPD yard.

And it’s not quite our usual load…

With 18m-long carrier beams on board, our extendable trailer had to be stretched out to the max to cope with the length!

Load one arrived safely on site this afternoon, with another two full artic loads of steel due for delivery tomorrow.

Fabricated in our workshop. Loaded in our yard. Delivered to site.

Weld It Wednesdays 🔥🎶

Today we completed the fabrication of around 100 tonnes of structural steel for a major industrial project in the Highlands.

This is Phase 4 of the project — and the final piece of what has been a huge development.

The scale of this final phase has brought some serious steelwork with it. 20 additional rafters are supported by just four additional stanchions, meaning each of those stanchions weighs in at around 4 tonnes!

Next up, the completed steelwork will be painted and prepared for delivery to site in the coming days, ready for er****on to get underway.

🍬 Our second and final competition at this year’s Turriff Show was to guess the number of sweets in the jar! 🍬

Over the two days, lots of you had a go, and we’re delighted to reveal that the correct number of sweets was…

End of July already!

2026 is flying by!

As we head into August, here’s a look at just two of the projects our teams have been working on this week.

🔹 The er****on of the galvanised structural steel frame for a new agricultural muck storage building. With the frame now complete, our team will be on site tomorrow to begin installing the roof.

🔹 Progress continues on the external concrete works for a large-scale grain storage development.

Meanwhile, it’s all go in the fabrication workshop, where our team is processing more than 70 tonnes of structural steel for a major industrial project in the Highlands.

Whether it’s steel fabrication, structural er****on or specialist concrete works, another busy week is drawing to a close—and August is already shaping up to be even busier.

Fabrication Friday 🔥

It's been a while since our last update. That can only mean one thing... we've been too busy getting the job done.

Over the last couple of weeks we've completed:

• 2,500m² of polished concrete floor slabs
• Over half a kilometre of poured concrete walls

Today our fabrication workshop also took delivery of three artic loads of structural steel, ready to be fabricated into the next generation of RPD projects, with another two full artic loads arriving next week.

From the groundworks to the final steel frame, every stage is moving at full pace, and the workshop team have a busy few weeks ahead.

Foundations & Fabrication Friday.

Today our teams reached another milestone, completing the foundations for a new 5,000ft² muck storage building, supporting one of our recently completed poultry developments.

Meanwhile, back at the workshop, the structural steel frame has been fully fabricated, loaded, and is ready to head to the galvanisers on Monday.

From groundworks and concrete to steel fabrication and er****on, delivering every stage of a project in-house is what sets us apart.
