That’s another week complete — and another month gone. 2026 is flying by!

Following on from the projects we shared earlier this week, we’ve finished May by completing several key milestones across our agricultural developments:

✅ External concrete works for a 32,000-bird poultry unit

✅ Concrete poured for the last of three 18m-wide grain silo bases, completing this stage of the silo development

✅ A new loading dock and handrails installed for a 16,000-bird poultry unit

It’s been another productive month with strong progress made across multiple sites, thanks to the hard work, commitment and expertise of our team.

As we head into June, we’re looking forward to maintaining the momentum and continuing to deliver quality projects for our clients.

Another day, another project progressing well…

We’re nearing completion of the site preparation phase on our latest 32,000-bird poultry project in Kincardineshire.

Having only arrived on site four days ago, our team has worked through the week transforming the area and preparing it for the next phase of the project.

In that time, we’ve excavated and reshaped around three acres of ground, moving approximately 50,000 tonnes of material through cut-and-fill operations across the site.

A huge effort from everyone involved, and it’s great to see the project progressing so quickly. Looking forward to seeing this development take shape over the coming months.

We’re halfway through the week already.

So far this week, our teams have been working across four separate 32,000-bird poultry projects, stretching from the Highlands to Kincardineshire.

On Monday, we completed the structural foundations for a 32,000-bird poultry unit in Buchan, and today we successfully completed another in Moray.

We’ll have more updates from the remaining two projects in the coming days — stay tuned!

That’s Friday again 👋

Here’s a look at some of today’s teams and projects…

We completed the final foundation pour on a third silo base, taking the total Readymix concrete used on this project so far to around 500m³.

We’ve also made strong progress on the foundation phase for a new poultry project, with just over a third of the bases now poured.

And we’re into the final stages of civil works on another project that’s quickly nearing completion.

Another hectic week for the teams — hard to believe we’re almost halfway through 2026 already! 🚧

Throwback Thursday 👷‍♂️🌾

It’s that time of year again, with the push on to get grain storage projects completed and ready in time for harvest.

While we’re busy across multiple sites this week, here’s a look back at one of the large grain store projects we completed a few years ago.

This project involved the fabrication and er****on of over an acre of buildings — a huge undertaking requiring careful planning, precision fabrication, and efficient site installation from start to finish.

The project also included the design and fabrication of specialist access ladders and gantries, tailored specifically to the site’s operational requirements.

Proud to have played a part in delivering another major agricultural project ready for the demands of harvest season. 🚜

It’s Friday again! 👋

And that’s almost a wrap on another hectic week, working across multiple sites around the North East.

This week has included laying over 1,000m² of external concrete aprons, alongside the installation of more than 1,800m² of cladding.

At one of our projects, works have continued on silo bases above an underground tunnel, including the installation of bespoke shuttering and thousands of metres of reinforcing steel. We’re now over halfway to completion on these pours.

We’ve also completed the internal floor slab pour for the adjacent building — covering around 700m².

Total concrete poured this week: over 550 cubic metres! 🔧

A huge effort from everyone involved to keep all projects moving at pace.

Now it’s down to our team to work through the night to polish the floor slab!

And next week looks just as busy, with foundation works planned on two large poultry projects which will require around a further 250m³ of concrete.

It’s Friday! 👋

Earlier this week we kicked off several new projects, and thanks to the weather they’re all moving forward at an impressive pace.

We’ve started site preparation for a new poultry project — excavations are nearly complete and we’re on track for concrete foundations in around a week’s time.

Work is also well underway on a grain storage project, including the formation of an underground tunnel 2.5 metres deep and over 60 metres long. The supporting steelwork and precast side panels are now in place, with the tunnel floor poured today.

And to round things off, we’ve completed our work on this egg conveyor bridge, with the custom-made cover fitted this afternoon.

A strong week across the board — looking forward to pushing these projects on even further next week. 🔧

Spring has definitely sprung 🌱

We’re grateful for the longer days and warmer weather—and we’ve been making the most of it here in Aberdeenshire.

So far this week:

• Completion of 400m of shuttered concrete walls for a new poultry project 🐓
• Preparing and laying over 18,000 ft² of external concrete areas
• Sitework underway across 1.5 acres for a new build
• Making a strong start on foundation works for new grain silos, including 600m³ of excavation and the installation of an underground tunnel—ready for the final bases, which will involve pouring around 700m³ of reinforced concrete

Busy week, solid progress, and plenty more to come.

Why did the chicken cross the road? 🐓

We’re not quite sure…

But what we do know is how the eggs get from A to B 🥚

We’ve just completed our third egg conveyor support system here in Aberdeenshire.

This one definitely wasn’t a simple A-to-B job—it even involved bridging over an artic lorry route 🚛

Six months ago, we delivered a similar project supporting around 100 metres of egg conveyors, and it’s great to be back at it again with another solid install.

Practical, durable, and built to keep things moving—EGGSACTLY what’s needed in a busy production environment.
