📍 Oxford Project Complete

While most of our work is across Warwickshire, we're always happy to support our long-standing commercial clients wherever their projects take us.
For this office refurbishment in Oxford, we carried out the taping and jointing of newly installed partition walls before preparing and decorating the space. The addition of bold feature walls has helped transform the office into a fresh, modern working environment.

It's always rewarding to see a project come together and even more so when working with clients who continue to trust us with their projects year after year.

📍 Burton-on-Trent – Greene King Main Offices

This week we're carrying out a full refurbishment of the external fire escape staircase for a new commercial client.

The project begins with extensive preparation, including a thorough jet wash to remove dirt, loose coatings and contaminants before any painting work starts. Once fully prepared, we'll be applying a durable Anthracite Grey coating system, giving the staircase a smart, modern finish while providing long-lasting protection against the elements.

With the cherry picker on site and all safety measures in place, the team are already hard at work and making great progress.

It's always a pleasure to work with new commercial clients, and we're looking forward to transforming this staircase and sharing the finished result with you all.

A site visit yesterday to Elizabeth House, part of the Stratford-on-Avon District Council estate.

We’re currently undertaking the restoration and decoration of original sash and dormer windows, internally and externally, across this Grade II listed building. Projects like this demand a careful balance — preserving the character and integrity of the building while delivering a high-quality, long-lasting finish.

The team are now approaching the halfway stage, and the standard of workmanship on display is exactly what these buildings deserve. Despite a demanding programme, the attention to detail and consistency throughout has been exceptional.

A real credit to the team — proud to be delivering work of this calibre on such a significant building.

🔨Progress well underway at Elizabeth House in Stratford-upon-Avon, with over 50 sash windows being restored and painted on this Grade II listed building.

Working closely with our commercial clients on this project, it’s great to be part of maintaining a building like this while keeping everything moving on a tight programme.

With everything now nearly in place, the project is starting to take shape, and steady progress is being made each week.

Looking forward to seeing it develop over the coming weeks 👌

The last few weeks have been an absolute whirlwind! 🌪️

Between a chaotic schedule at Warwickshire Decorating Contracts and moving into a new house that is a massive project in itself, life has been 100mph. It hasn’t exactly been a "move in and relax" situation—it’s been days and nights of juggling work and getting the new place sorted. 🛠️

To be honest, I haven’t even had a second to stop and reflect, or even find the time for a workout, which is usually so important for me. 🧘‍♂️

I have to give a massive shout-out to the team. The guys have been incredible, managing our commercial projects and keeping everything running smoothly with zero issues while I’ve been buried in boxes and floorplans. Our clients are happy, and the work hasn't missed a beat. 👏✨

But now, it’s finally time to hit the reset button. ⏸️
We’re off for two weeks of family time in Singapore, Bali, and Kuala Lumpur! ✈️ I’m looking forward to some much-needed downtime and getting some time back for ourselves before we go again.

See you all in a fortnight, refreshed and ready for a big reset! 🌴🥥

🌱 Supporting our local community 🌱

This morning we loaded up the van with plant pots, seed trays and some soil and dropped them off to a local specialist school to help them get started with some spring planting and seed sowing.

It’s always great to support local schools and do our bit for the community here in Warwickshire. Hopefully the students will enjoy planting the seeds and watching them grow over the coming months 🌿🌼

As a thank you they very kindly gave us a box of Heroes, which definitely went down well with the team! 🍫

Small gestures can make a big difference and we’re always happy to help where we can.
