This week, our FM division completed a lighting improvement for Parkwood Leisure, resolving a dark spot within one of their gym areas by installing an additional light fitting.

It’s the kind of task that can easily be overlooked, but in environments used daily by members and staff, good lighting directly affects:
✔️ User experience
✔️ Safety
✔️ Overall presentation of the facility

The brief was straightforward:
➡️ Identify the poorly lit area
➡️ Install additional lighting
➡️ Complete works with minimal disruption to gym operations

A clean and simple upgrade, but one that immediately improves the space for everyone using it.

As we continue growing our Facilities Maintenance division alongside our construction projects, these are exactly the types of responsive works we’re proud to deliver for commercial clients.

🚧 New Project Underway – Rear Extension Build 🚧

We’ve kicked off a new rear extension project this week and made a strong start on site.

✔️ Site preparation completed
✔️ Drainage works finished – including relocating and installing new inspection chambers
✔️ Footings currently being excavated, ready for concrete pour early next week

This project will deliver a 20m² single storey rear extension, forming:
🔹 A brand-new kitchen
🔹 A new downstairs WC
🔹 A full internal reconfiguration with structural alterations to create a modern open-plan living space

Great progress so far from the team – looking forward to seeing this one take shape over the coming weeks.

This project has now been fully handed over, with the client already up and running — offices in use, warehouse operational, and their demo space taking shape.

From initial works through to final finish, this was all about delivering a clean, practical environment ready for immediate use.

Great progress on our extension project in Sandy 👷‍♂️

The walls are now fully constructed, and the roof structure is complete. We’ve boarded and insulated the roof, putting us in a strong position and ready for the next stage – installation of the roof membrane.

This marks us nearing completion of this phase of the project, as our scope here focuses on the external works only. It’s always rewarding to see a build reach this stage, where the structure is weather-tight and ready to move forward.
