πΏβ¨ Good afternoon everyone! β¨πΏ
Here's a garden transformation we're completing in multiple phases for a fantastic pair of customers. π
Our customer started this garden journey last year, but unfortunately due to health issues wasn't able to complete it. So who did he call? Us! πͺ
We began by preparing the base for a shed at the rear of the garden. Once that was completed ahead of schedule, we turned our attention to the large mound of soil in the middle of the garden, spreading it evenly and ensuring we had the correct depths available for the sub-base, grano dust and artificial grass installation.
The customers were amazed by how much progress we made in just two days, so we decided to keep the momentum going and booked another slot to get all the groundwork completed. π
β
Ground levelled
β
100mm MOT Type 1 installed
β
Levels established
β
Fully compacted and ready for the next stage
We then returned to install the grano dust:
β
30mm grano dust installed
β
Levels checked and adjusted
β
Carefully screeded to create the perfect finish
Then came the grass... and what a challenge that was! π
This garden has absolutely no access whatsoever, meaning every single material had to come through the house or over the rear fence. Unfortunately, the local farmer wasn't available with his telehandler, so it became a fully manual operation. πͺ
The grass chosen was our beautiful Cheshire 35mm artificial grass. At a massive 5m wide and 15m long, it certainly wasn't light work! Luckily, the lads from Crake Group Ltd came to lend a hand. Together we transported the roll over 200 yards across a farmer's field before lifting it onto the fences using a scaffolding tube through the centre of the roll.
A serious effort from everyone involved! π
But I'm sure you'll agree, when you see the finished result, every bit of hard work was worth it. π€©π±
We'll be returning later in the year to complete the final phase with some composite decking and possibly even a pergola... watch this space! π
