0.7ha of larch being hand felled and extracted, ready to go in the peeler pointer, turned in to fencing, for use up and round in the Duddon valley! From forest to field!!!

This is how we should be managing our countries forests and timber, rather than importing it, bringing possible diseases which can have devastating effects.

Here's a few pictures showing some decent stacks coming out.

Job done for Tim & Helen. 2 large ash trees turned in to high pollards/habitats.

The trees were looking very ropey - ash die back - so we have made them safe, while leaving the ivy attached. The amount of life in these trees is riculously high, including bats, birds, insects etc.

These trees are now safe from dropping limbs on the buildings, and they should have a fresh flush of growth this year (when it starts to warm up!)

Please get in touch if you would like a quote for any type of tree work, from crown reshapes, to removals, including stumps, low impact forestry, and planting, dangerous or fallen trees, firewood and woodchip sales or even if you need advice on trees in your garden!
