It’s been a busy few weeks recently, the hot weather has obviously spurred people on with horse fan fitting as I’ve done 3 in the last 7 days 🔥
Today I have been to do a ramp wood replacement for a regular customer who noticed a soft spot near the base of the ramp a few days ago.
This is obviously what I class as a priority job and as soon as the materials arrived on site I went directly over.
The good weather made the job a little more pleasant and I was all done in time for the football ⚽️
A new customer contacted me about a damaged window and a general check of a new to her vehicle, she was kind enough to send me the measurements so I could bring a replacement window with me for the visit, saving her both time and the need for a second visit.
Although the vehicle was in great condition it has been decided to replace the ramp top doors as they are sagging due to water ingress.
I have ordered custom GRP replacement panels and I’m confident I can re use the existing windows to cut down on costs.
Finally,a trailer service went a bit further than anticipated as the brakes (although partially working) were heavily corroded on the back plates and needed replacement.
The customer was happy to proceed with the repair and I returned a couple of days later to carry out the work.
I’m definitely busier than I ever have been but I’ve no doubt the lovely weather has got people out and about more regularly than usual 😎
