🔨 Another quality roof completed.

This project started as a repair for a few tiles that had cracked due to scaffolding resting on top of it. After closer inspection we come too realise that it was needing changing alltogether so full strip and re-roof, timber repairs where required, new lead work, a new breathable membrane, and a fresh roof covering for a long-lasting, weatherproof finish.

Old tiles stripped back, roof fully re-felted and battened using breathable membrane, new bonding gutter separating from neighbouring house . followed by a full new tile installation with matching ridge system and all new dry fix components fitted throughout.

A massive upgrade not only in appearance but also long-term protection for the property. The finished look completely modernises the house and gives the roof a clean, sharp finish 👌

Had to attend property to sort out roofing works left by previous roofer after chimney had been removed. Roof had been left uneven with both pitches running out, which was causing the slates not to sit properly. A lot of the slates were lifting and sitting proud due to bad setting out and uneven framing underneath.

Stripped back affected area and removed previous defective work. Reworked roof section to get pitches running correctly again and installed new membrane and battens where needed. Re-laid slates properly so courses ran straight and all slates sat flat and secure.

Finished off verge details and Checked over surrounding roof area and secured any loose slates.

Roof now left straight, watertight and finished to a good standard.

Another tired old lead valley brought back to life 👌

This valley had been installed incorrectly in the past using long continuous lengths of lead rather than smaller stepped sections. Over time the lead had expanded and contracted, causing movement and failure in the valley.

It had also previously been coated over in an attempt to stop the leaks — but coatings are only ever a short-term fix and don’t solve the underlying issue.

We stripped the valley right back, renewed the timber support where needed, installed fresh breathable membrane and battens, then fitted a brand new lead valley correctly in smaller sections to allow for movement and long-term durability.

Finished off with new slate work neatly dressed into the valley for a clean, watertight finish 🔨

This one started with some serious issues – rotten timbers, failed felt, and years of water ingress causing major structural damage. We stripped everything right back to the bones, removed all compromised materials, and rebuilt it properly from the ground up. Just didn’t manage too get final photos with ridge system or fascia.

🔨 New structural timbers installed
🔨 Breathable membrane fitted
🔨 Treated battens throughout
🔨 Leadwork detailed and sealed
🔨 Finished with clean, modern slate for a sharp look

Now it’s not just looking the part — it’s built to last and fully weatherproof for years to come.

Nice little porch roof finished off a good few months back.

We only carried out the slating on this one, all tiled up and leadwork done where it meets the wall to keep it watertight. Really sets the porch off and ties in nicely with the house.

Sometimes it’s the smaller jobs that are the most satisfying 👍
