We've been Extremely busy today. We travelled over to Crewe to Leighton Hospital to Commision 2 x Newly Installed Remeha Quinta Ace Boilers and carry out Balancing & Commisioning of the Heating & Hot Water Systems. Once we Completed that. We headed back over to Retford to Carry out the Remedials from yesterday. We installed a New Gas Valve on the Ideal Boiler. Then Serviced it. Labelled the Gas Pipe in the Kitchen. Fitted a Securing Chain to the Range Cooker. Capped off the Old Catering Gas Connection and Fitted the new Purge & Test Point.

Its been busy today as usual. We Serviced a Domestic Boiler in Sheffield this Morning. Then Attended to No Heating in the Sportshall at Yewlands Academy. Where it had been reported that the Actuator wasn't opening on the Valve. After finding the right one. Then carrying out some Tests and Strip down Clean. We got it operating and the Heating back on for them.
Then we headed over to Retford to a Carehome to Service A Gas Boiler. The Carbon Monoxide was running up at 23182 PPM CO. Which is Highly Dangerous. So we had to Cap it off. We will order a new Gas Valve for it.
Then we carried out a Gas Catering Check. Where we found an Open End Connection again. But everything else passed with flying Colours.

Callouts Galore for us again today. We attended a Callout to a Carehome in Grimsby first of all that had no Hot Water. When we arrived. We found no Power to the ACV Gas Fired Water Heater at all. After inspecting it and finding it was the Safety cut out on the Condensate Pump. As the Pump has Failed. We have just told them to keep emptying it for the moment. As we need to Quote them for a new one.
Then we headed over to another Callout to Worksop to change a Leaking 25litre Potable Water Expansion Vessel that had Split and was Leaking. Luckily we had afew in the Office. So we've utilised one for this.
Lastly to an Office that runs 24/7 in Chesterfield. Where the Boilers had gone down. So they had no Heating or Hot Water. Lucky for us it was an Easyfix and it was a member of staff that had been in the Plantroom and Leant against the Emergency Stop Button cutting off the Gas Solenoid Valve. We've Reccomended fitting a Different type of Emergency Stop. Which won't result in this happening. So we will Quote for this too. Started at a School in Wakefield this morning looking at this Andrews Water Heater that had broken down. Unfortunately after inspecting it. It had to be Capped off due to the Flue Leaking POCs after splitting.
Then to Oughtibridge, Sheffield to Service an ATAG Econimiser Boiler we fitted 3 years ago. These are still our favourite choice of Domestic Boiler.
Then we headed over to Rotherham to repair an Ideal Concorde Boiler in a Tight Position. It just needed the Spark Ignitor Cable replacing. Which we carry as Van Spares.
Lastly to St. Leonards Church in Longley, Sheffield to look at afew Issues. With a 2 inch Steel fitting split and Leaking. Also the Vicar reported after having 2 x New Ideal Evomax 2 Boilers fitted. The Heating isn't working correct. So after looking at it. Its been wired up wrong and the Plate Heat Exchanger is undersized. So we will be sorting this for them.

Been a manic one today. Started in Stocksbridge this morning repairing the Boiler we got called out to a couple of days ago. Where we diagnosed the Fan and Seal had failed on the Heatexchanger. We replaced these and actually found a quarter of the Seal actually missing. Which was extremely unsafe. For things like this. It pays to have your Appliances Serviced. But we replaced the Fan & Seal. Which got the Boiler back operating again.
Then over to Nottingham to a Burger King where the Gas Supply had been upgraded and we had to go to site to Purge the Gas in. Carry out a Strength & Tightness Test. Then Commision the Kitchen and Gas Appliances. Unfortunately that didn't happen. Due to the lack of Ventilation from the supply Fan and the Heavy Grease buildup on the Extract System which is a major Fire Risk. We couldn't Commision it. Which didn't go down well. But unfortunately Safety comes before Profit. So we have Isolated the Gas Supply and have put a Quote in to put the works right.

Its been another busy one today. We started over in Manchester. Quoting 2 x New Plantrooms in a Police Station and Town Hall. Then Stockport to Service some Ideal Concorde Boilers and replace an Electrode. Then to Sheffield to repair an ideal logic. Replacing the Spark Generator. Lastly a Callout tonight to a Vaillant Ecotec Boiler. Which had an F75 Fault. After we found no pressure in the boiler. We Re-pressured it and watched the Pressure climb with the Heating on. So we Tested the Expansion Vessel. Which had failed. So we will be back tomorrow to install a new one.

Another busy one today. Working in a very Tight Space back at Whitley Hall Hotel. We started Piping the ACV Heatmaster 85 today. We removed the very poorly installed Pipework back to the Isolation Valves. Then Re-Piped. We had to break at Certain times due to their being 2 Weddings going off. But we've managed to Clip out and run the Cold Feeds with new Lever Isolation Valve & Pressure Reducing. With new Expansion Vessel.
Then the Hot Return. We need to carry out sone Core Drilling for the Hot Flow, Gas Pipework & Condensate. So we will do this Monday.
Then a Callout to Wincobank. Where we was called out to an L2 Fault on an Ideal Logic. After Faultfinding and carrying out some testing. We found it was a Faulty Spark Generator. We will source and fit it on Monday.

Not many Photos today.
Started back at Whitley Hall Hotel today. Prepping the Plantroom for the Install of the ACV Heatmaster 85. Sorting the Flue out and Clipping out the run for Pipework.
Then we went to an Office in Chapeltown, Sheffield to look at a Wall Mounted Booling Hot Water Boiler. Which had Split and was flooding the Office. So we Isolated it. Made it Safe and will arrange a Quote for a new one.
Lastly to a Large Carehome in Chesterfield on a Callout to investigate a Boiler Leak. On some Hamworthy Modumax Boilers. Where the middle sections Heatexchanger has Pinholed. So we have Isolated this and just got the top and bottom sections operating.

Another busy one today. We started at a house in Stocksbridge where a Baxi Boiler had stopped working. We found no power onto the Boiler. So we found the Quickblow fuses had blown on the PCB Board. We replaced these and got power back on. Then we found the Fan was Faulty and Signs of POCs leaking out of the Heatexchanger. So we will order these to replace ASAP.
Then to Whitley Hall Hotel to make a list of Parts required for installing the ACV Gas Fired Water Heater tomorrow.
Lastly to a Site in Rotherham. Where we had to Drain a Large Commercial Heating System down and replace afew Automatic Airvents that were Leaking. Then fill back up again and Re-commision the System.

Another busy one today.
Started in Deepcar doing a 1st Year Boiler Service on an Ideal Vogue. Then down the Road looking for a leak on a Heating System. Which we found a slight drip on the PRV.
Then to an MOD Site in Hull to Sort their Boiler, Heating and BMS Issues out.
Lastly back to Doncaster to look at a Joule Hot Water Air Source Heatpump. After investigating. We found a Faulty Thermistir. Which we will order and replace ASAP.

Its been abit of a stressful annoying kind of day today. We was waiting all day at Whitley Hall Hotel for the ACV Gas Fired Water Heater to be delivered. Which never turned up. Then today it was suposed to be delivered in the morning. But didn't arrive till 14:30. Then we had to move it into a very tight Plantroom. Which weighed 314kg. It was a tough one but its in position now. Ready to Pipe up. Then after going to a Callout last night to look at a Leaking Worcester Bosch Boiler. We went tonight to fit a Left Hand Block on it.

Been a Busy one today at Whitley Hall Hotel. After one of the Burner Tubes split afew weeks ago. We started Draining down a 400 Litre Lochinvar Gas Fired Water Heater. Disconnecting the Pipework and Removing it from site.
All ready for installing the new one tomorrow.
