Another project successfully completed ✅

This one involved removing the existing structural wall and installing a new steel beam, completely opening up the space and giving the room a much more spacious feel.

The roof is really starting to take shape on this extension. 🏠🔨

The gables are now built and the roof timbers are in place, with the soffits, fascia and guttering all installed.

Next up, we’ll be fitting the skylights before moving on to the roofing felt, battens and tiles.

Once that’s complete, the extension will be fully weatherproof and ready for the next stage of the build.

Plenty of progress on this one and it’s great to see the shell coming together. 👌

Another update from the extension that’s well underway. 🧱🔨

The walls are now up, the lintels are in place and we’re getting everything ready for the roof timbers.

It’s really starting to take shape now, giving a much better idea of the finished space and how the extension will connect with the existing property.

Plenty of progress made on this one, with the roof structure next on the list. 👌

Another insurance job stage completed as part of the restoration of a property following significant fire damage. 🔥🏠

The existing roof had been badly damaged, so we stripped it back and replaced the damaged structure and insulation before installing a new Cure It GRP Waterproofing System resin roof system.

The new roof is now complete, giving the property a fully sealed and durable finish ready for the next stage of the restoration.

Next up, we’ll be removing the existing damaged render and replacing it to give the outside of the property a fresh finish.

Another extension underway, this time with the client opting for the shell build only. 🧱🔨

We’ve been busy getting the foundations in, building up the new walls and getting the structure ready to take shape.

The shell will be completed by our team, leaving the client to take care of the internal works and finishes themselves.

It’s always great seeing an extension progress from the initial groundworks to the walls starting to take shape.

Another insurance job completed by the team. 🧱🔨

This boundary wall had developed significant cracking and had started to deteriorate, leaving sections unstable and in need of attention.

We carefully took the existing wall down and rebuilt it from the ground up, reusing the existing bricks where possible and matching the original style.

The finished result is a much stronger, more secure wall that has been built properly to last.

A nice little porcelain patio installation completed recently. 👌

This one was all about creating a clean, practical outdoor space with a great finish.

We installed porcelain paving throughout the patio and side passage, with carefully planned falls, neat cuts and attention to detail around the existing drainage and access points.

The porcelain gives the area a modern look while being a durable and low-maintenance option for the garden.

Another insurance job completed by the team. 🏠🔨

A vehicle had unfortunately caused significant damage to the front of the property, leaving the brickwork around the window badly damaged.

We carefully removed the existing window before taking down the damaged brickwork and rebuilding the area, making sure everything was properly supported throughout the process.

Once the brickwork was repaired, the original window was carefully reinstalled and the surrounding area finished off, leaving the property looking as good as new. 👌

Haven’t posted for a while, so here’s a look at one of our latest projects 👀

We’ve been busy behind the scenes with plenty of work going on, and this one is now well underway.

The existing concrete has been broken out and removed, with the ground excavated ready for the new foundations.

One important factor on this project is the difference in ground levels between the properties. Along the neighbouring side, the footing needs to go down approximately 1800mm, as the neighbouring property sits at a lower level.

This is something that always needs to be carefully considered when planning and carrying out foundation work. Ground levels, neighbouring structures and existing conditions can all have a big impact on the depth and construction of the foundations.

Another project progressing nicely, with plenty more to come.
