Our Sports Day last friday brought the ACT team together to connect, compete and have a bit of fun outside of the day-to-day. Because Passion, Teamwork and CAN DO aren’t just values on paper. They’re how we show up for each other, on site, in the office and everywhere in between.

✨ Not everything beautiful is meant to be hidden!
 
With ACT’s HQ, we made the decision to expose elements of the building’s structure rather than conceal them. It wasn’t simply an aesthetic choice – it was a reflection of how we believe super-prime construction should be approached.
 
When every detail is delivered with care, quality doesn’t stop where the plasterboard begins. The craftsmanship, coordination and precision should be evident throughout, whether it’s visible or not.
 
In our case study Mews, Office Home, Architect Jonathan Boyle from shares why exposing the building’s structure became such an important part of the design.

Our headquarters is more than an office… it’s a live demonstration of our approach to construction. From exposing the building’s structure to celebrating craftsmanship in every detail, every decision reflects the quality, precision and collaboration we bring to every project we deliver.
 
Originally two separate buildings, a former office and adjoining bakery, the space has been transformed into a workplace designed for creativity, wellbeing and connection, while respecting the character of the original mews.
