A quick message to all our customers 👇

At BGM Landscapes & Fencing Ltd, we want to be as transparent as possible about working with timber.

Wood is a natural product, which means it will move over time. During periods of extreme heat, cold, or wet weather, timber can warp, twist, shrink, expand, or develop small splits. This is completely normal and is simply the nature of wood.

When we finish a job, everything is installed correctly, level, straight, and to a high standard. However, once the timber is exposed to the elements, natural movement is completely beyond our control. No installer or supplier can prevent timber from reacting to changing weather conditions.

We always use quality materials and install everything using best practices, but we can’t guarantee that natural timber will remain exactly the same months or years after installation.

We believe it’s important to set realistic expectations so our customers understand that this is a characteristic of the material—not a fault with the workmanship.

🚧 Another retaining wall transformation completed! 💪

We removed an old leaning retaining wall and replaced it with strong RSJ steel supports, installing high-quality landscape sleepers between them for a durable and attractive finish.

To ensure long-lasting performance, we fitted a DPM membrane behind the wall and backfilled with pea gravel to provide excellent drainage.

To complete the project, we installed a stylish new fence line using premium materials and topped up the driveway with fresh gravel, leaving everything looking clean and finished to a high standard.

That 2am alarm was definitely worth it! 🙌 What a game and what a performance from the lads. Plenty of tired eyes today, but we’ll take that all day long!

Now it’s time to swap the football shirts for the work gear and get back to transforming gardens. 💪
