Those swirls are exactly why paint should always be thoroughly mixed before use. Pigments settle, colours separate, and skipping this step can affect the final finish. Plus, it’s ridiculously satisfying to watch. 🎨

There’s nothing quite as satisfying as watching fresh paint mix - all those swirls of colour coming together into one smooth finish 😍

But it’s also why you should never assume paint is ready to use straight from the tin. Even when it looks like the right colour when you open it, the colours can be sitting around the sides of the tin and barely mixed at all, just like this.

Taking the time to properly mix it makes all the difference to achieving a consistent, flawless finish ✨
