Join Tom Godfrey, Assistant Professor in Politics at the University of Sussex, for a timely and thought-provoking exploration of global power in transition. With eight years of lecturing and research spanning twentieth- and twenty-first-century liberal theory, the regulation of state capture and tax avoidance, and public policy, Dr. Godfrey brings sharp insight to today’s most urgent political debates.

In this compelling talk, he examines the changing face of geopolitics and asks a pressing question: can today’s geopolitical institutions truly be relied upon to confront and resolve the defining political challenges of our era? And if not, what does that mean for the future of domestic governance and international policy? Expect analysis, perspective, and a conversation that goes to the heart of global political change.

There will be a 45 minute presentation followed by a discussion, question and answer session.
