Wooden Construction: We started by building a sturdy wooden frame around the designated area. Our skilled carpenters meticulously measured and cut the timber to ensure a perfect fit.
Plasterboard Installation: Next, we installed plasterboard panels within the wooden frame. These panels serve as the base for the media wall and provide a smooth surface for further finishing.
Seamless Filling and Sanding: Our team applied high-quality filler to any gaps or seams between the plasterboard panels. After allowing it to dry, we sanded the surface to achieve a seamless look.
Shelving Units: To maximize functionality, we created six custom shelves within the media wall. These shelves are perfect for displaying decorative items, books, or family photos.
TV Niche: The central section of the media wall features a dedicated niche for the TV. We ensured proper cable management and concealed any unsightly wires behind the plasterboard.

🛠️ Wooden Decking on a Slope: Expert Installation! 🛠️

🌿 As your skilled handyman, I’ve successfully completed a wooden decking project on a slope, ensuring a level and stable surface for outdoor enjoyment. Here’s how we achieved it:

Assessment and Planning:
We carefully assessed the slope and planned the decking layout.
Post Holes: We dug foundation holes at strategic points to support the deck posts1.
Angle Consideration: To ensure proper drainage and stability, we chose an appropriate angle for the decking boards2.
Setting the Posts:
Using treated timber posts, we secured them in the foundation holes with postcrete (which sets quicker than concrete)3.
The posts were leveled and positioned to create a sturdy framework.
Constructing the Frame:
We built the outer frame using pressure-treated lumber, ensuring it was square and level4.
The downhill side of the frame was higher off the ground to accommodate the slope.
Joists and Deck Boards:
Internal joists were attached to the frame using joist hangers and screws, spaced at regular intervals4.
We laid the decking boards starting from the house and working outward, securing them with screws5.
Spacers maintained even gaps between the boards for expansion and contraction.
Leveling and Stabilizing:
We carefully adjusted the deck boards to achieve a level surface.
Any obstacles or uneven areas were addressed by cutting boards to fit around them5.
Finishing Touches:
To prevent rot and damage, we applied varnish to the wood, protecting it from the elements6.
