This table was one of the first things I made as ‘Reclaimed by Jonny’, and over the years it has been abused by the children in the home but it has performed well. It was however looking tired so a bit of a facelift was needed! Not too much so it stopped the ‘rustic’ look mind.

Before and after. A bit of work today titivating the chimney breast for . Removed some old wooden blocks and replaced with bricks, took some of the old pads out from between the bricks and pointed the gap and added some candle stick holders that used to be a part of a canal lock.

Loft conversion so far. With 100+ year old plaster falling down around us and V dusty insulation being moved around up there we are now (with a massive thanks to the father-in-law) at a stage where it looks like it is coming together. Stairs being delivered next week and then it’s officially a room! It’s been hot and dusty but it will be worth it in the end.
